Are the storms in your life, making the Lighthouse hard to see?

Many a time, I see the Light, that is Jesus and feel pretty confident what the waves are about. However, sometimes, like the loss of my hubby's job after 25 years of employment, then unable to find work for months....just wasn't tracking with any understanding....... I just wonder, is it sometimes because our image of the Lighthouse is ascewed, tilted or not looking the way "we" think it should be?

I find that as we are to be lights in this very dark world, and we are called to be black and white and not dabbling in muddy waters, sometimes our life is suddenly hit with storms of warfare and stretching. Isn't it difficult to steer the ship when the waves are crashing and the seas are roaring?

I pray that each day you will see the Lighthouse clearly and choose to hang onto your sailing ship and realize that the storms are brewing, but your boat is not splintered upon the rocks...
We feel the creeking of the boards and the shaking of the supports, our arms ache from the rowing and our checks are flushed from the raging winds and salt, but we must stand firm....no man or woman can run a ship alone. We need each other as fellow crew members to guide this beast during the difficult times. Stay at the hull and be sure to send up your S.O.S. signals. We all want to support and pray for you during your storms.

In Him, karla
